Michael I. Banker

Michael I. Banker ran his own accounting practice for 23 years, specializing in financial, tax planning, and consulting services for closely held companies and highly compensated individuals. Responsible for operations and staff, Michael directly supervised each significant engagement. He also assists businesses and individuals in their tax and financial management, while drawing upon the firm’s resources toward achieving clients’ goals. Michael is frequently called upon to render advice within areas of his professional expertise including tax, finance, company operations and business planning.

Before owning his own firm, Michael was a partner for two years with Laventhol and Horwath, the seventh largest public accounting firm in the United States. He was the senior audit partner of Laventhol’s Secaucus office, managing small, medium, and multi-national engagements.

Michael also worked as a partner with Finkle & Company, the largest single-office public accounting firm within New Jersey. He was responsible for managing a wide variety of engagements including audit, tax planning, litigation support, valuations, and mergers and acquisitions.
