Eric Gelb has more than 30 years of experience in financial services, specializing in fractional CFO services, transaction advisory, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and business development. His clients include private equity, hedge and real estate funds, investment advisors and family offices. In addition, Eric also serves as a Board Advisor.
Eric collaborates on private equity due diligence (quality of earnings) related to structured credit, M&A and debt and equity capital. His broad experience includes fractional CFO services, corporate accounting, fund administration, equipment leasing, structured finance, asset-based lending and securitization. Eric is currently advising the Board of a leading registered investment advisor (RIA) on merging two divisions.
Earlier in his career, Eric was an auditor at a “Big Four” accounting firm where he earned his CPA. He also served as national sales manager of Citigroup’s Citicapital Bankers Leasing and previously a vice president in their Asset Finance Group. Eric’s corporate finance and investment banking experience includes roles at Citigroup, JPMorgan and Inner Circle Sports, formerly a unit of Fortress Investment Group. While at JPMorgan, Eric created a multi-seller asset-backed conduit, Relationship Funding Corp. where he was responsible for originating $1.9 billion of assets in 15 months.
