Donald J. Troy

Donald J. Troy is the New England Co-Managing Partner and serves in the Commercial Business group at the Firm. He has over 30 years of experience providing audit, tax and business advisory services to closely held and publicly traded companies. He also advises individuals on how to maximize the value of their investments and minimize the tax impact. Don’s experience includes service in the audit and tax departments of an international accounting firm and the tax department of a multinational Fortune 300 company.

Don’s technical skill and business acumen enable him to work with clients to develop accounting and operational strategies, structure and analyze acquisition or exit transactions, establish plans to minimize federal and state tax liabilities and foster banking relationships. His experience advising early-stage companies helps position them for the next stage of growth or an exit.

Don’s industry expertise includes professional services, healthcare, real estate and construction, technology, manufacturing, retail, distribution, financial services and not-for-profit organizations.  He develops close, long-term relationships with his clients and is an advocate for them.

Don has been a speaker on tax and accounting matters for early stage and technology forums.
