Dennis S. Neier has more than 50 years of experience in accounting and business consulting, having served as partner at a “Big Four” accounting firm and partner and senior executive at various national accounting and advisory firms. Dennis is an independent senior advisor to PKF O’Connor Davies’ Forensic Accounting and Litigation Consulting practice. He specializes in providing litigation consulting, forensic accounting, alternative dispute resolution and expert witness services to law firms and in-house counsel.
Dennis has consulted for cases involving individuals and companies with an emphasis on breach of contract or fiduciary duty, royalty disputes, business interruption, purchase and sale agreement disputes, lost profits, economic damages, fraud, mass claim cases and white-collar crime. In addition, he has considerable expertise in performing fraud investigations for not-for-profit organizations and in serving as an arbitrator and mediator.
Dennis was an adjunct professor at the City University of New York and New York University and has lectured at professional organizations with which he is involved. He has coauthored the chapters on personal financial statements and forensic accounting and litigation consulting services for the “Accountants’ Handbook” and a chapter on fraud detection and investigation for “The Encyclopedia of Nonprofit Management, Leadership, and Governance.”
