Thomas Sorrentino has recently been appointed a member of the Board of Commissioners of the NYC Taxi & Limousine Commission

Thomas Sorrentino, CPA, Partner,has recently been appointed a non-salaried member of the Board of Commissioners of the NYC Taxi & Limousine Commission (TLC). Commissioner Sorrentino’s term will run through January 31, 2022.

The TLC Board consists of nine members appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council. The Commission is a Charter-mandated agency, the purpose of which is the continuance, further development and improvement of taxi and for-hire service in the City of New York.  Among their responsibilities are licensing and regulating for-hire vehicles, commuter vans and wheelchair accessible van services related to the overall public transportation network of the City of New York.
