PKF O’Connor Davies Recognized as Top-Ranked Accounting Employer to Work for in North America by Vault Accounting 50
New York, NY (April 18, 2017) – PKF O’Connor Davies, LLP, the nation’s 28th largest accounting and advisory firm, announced that it has been named to the 2018 Vault Accounting 50, a ranking of the 50 best accounting employers to work for in North America. Making the list for the third consecutive year, PKF O’Connor Davies jumped to the 22nd position based on scores for quality of life factors and overall diversity of the Firm.
“Our Firm has experienced exceptional growth in the last few years since our debut on Vault Accounting 50,” said Kevin J. Keane, Managing Partner of PKF O’Connor Davies. “To see our reputation as an employer grow along with our Firm size and geographic presence is a true testament to the workplace culture we’ve built and nurture every day.”
Since O’Connor Davies debuted at 46 in the Vault rankings three years ago, the Firm’s continued growth and evolution as a destination for top talent has resulted in more prestigious rankings each year. Vault Accounting 50 is compiled using a weighted formula that reflects the issues accounting professionals care most about, combining quality of life rankings (such as culture, satisfaction, work/life balance, and compensation) with overall prestige.
The annual survey closely examines commitment to diversity and workplace culture. In all 22 associated categories, PKF O’Connor Davies ranked in the top 25, with top 10 ratings in “Relationships with Supervisors” and “Hours” categories. In a separate survey of more than 8,000 accounting professionals asked to rank the prestige of the firms they compete against, PKF O’Connor Davies ranked 33rd among firms in North America.
In 2016, PKF O’Connor Davies brought Dawn Perri on board as Chief Human Resources Officer to solidify its workplace culture and reinforce the Firm’s commitment to attracting and retaining top talent to best serve the needs of its growing client base.
“To be recognized by our employees and peers makes these rankings especially rewarding,” said Dawn Perri, Chief Human Resources Officer of PKF O’Connor Davies. “We continually strive to foster an environment that inspires our employees to do their best work and makes them feel valued for their efforts.”
