PKF O’Connor Davies Promotes Jeffrey Gittler to Co-head of Cannabis Practice
Noted Industry Expert Assumes New Leadership Role in Rapidly Expanding Group
PKF O’Connor Davies, LLP, one of the nation’s largest accounting, tax and advisory firms, announced today that it has promoted Jeffrey Gittler to Co-head of the Firm’s Cannabis Practice. Gittler has been instrumental in the successes the group has achieved to date, and his enhanced role reflects the Firm’s ongoing commitment to serve as leaders in providing valuation, audit, accounting and tax solutions in the cannabis sector.

Gittler’s nearly four-decade career has focused on providing accounting and tax services with a concentration in quality control and audit services for several industries, including government services, healthcare, employee benefits, and non-profits. He has been part of the Firm’s Cannabis Group since its inception and has guided its expansion of services, which today includes audits, outside accounting and CFO services, regulatory review, tax services, advisory insights for investment funds, and valuation services. The group is recognized throughout the industry for anticipating fast-advancing trends and delivering value-based insights and solutions.

Gittler is a leader in several professional accounting organizations and is a frequent expert lecturer on key industry topics. Recently, he was appointed as chair of the Cannabis Industry Committee of the New York State Society of CPAs.
