PKF O’Connor Davies Promotes 3 Partners and 3 Principals
Professionals advance to new leadership positions as part of Firm’s strategic growth strategy and commitment to creating meaningful career opportunities for top talent
PKF O’Connor Davies, LLP, one of the nation’s largest accounting, tax and advisory firms, announced today that six employees have been promoted to key leadership positions within the Firm. Bryan Decker, Jim Szumlaski, and Diana Teixeira have been promoted to Partner. Richard J. Corcoran III, Noam Hirschberger, and Kelly Lin have been promoted to Principal. Supporting and promoting developing leaders is a central strategy of the Firm’s growth and expansion plan. Each of these employees will bring their unique talents and experience to their expanded roles in the offices and client segments they serve.

Bryan Decker, CPA, has more than 20 years of experience providing auditing, review, tax, and consulting services for commercial industries including real estate, professional services, computer software, retail, manufacturing, and venture capital. He also has extensive experience working with health and welfare organizations, museums, churches and synagogues, government enterprise funds, and condominiums in the not-for-profit space. He will assume the role of Partner in the Firm’s Audit and Assurance Services practice at its Stamford, CT, location.
Jim Szumlaski, CPA, will serve as Partner in the Firm’s Business Solutions Group. Over the course of his 14-year career, he’s worked with small and large private companies in a range of industries including retail, manufacturing, distribution, professional services and not-for-profit entities. He’ll continue to serve clients by providing audit, tax and consulting services in his new role at the Firm’s Newburgh, NY, office.
Diana Teixeira, CPA, has more than a decade of experience providing a broad spectrum of tax services to many kinds of companies as well as high-net-worth individuals. She specializes in tax saving strategies for individuals and business owners with a focus on identifying problems related to federal and state regulations. She will be a Partner in the Firm’s Shelton, CT, office.
Richard J. Corcoran III has worked in the public accounting space for more than two decades and is an emerging leader within the litigation community in valuation and economic damage matters. He’s offered expert testimony in New Jersey and Federal Courts and has prepared valuation and economic damage reports including an economic damage report on IP infringement, a valuation of privately held utility companies, and a Goodwill and Intangible Asset Impairment testing report. Additionally, he has lead forensic investigations for government agencies, not-for-profit organizations and unions. He will serve as Principal in the Firm’s Livingston, NJ, office.
Noam Hirschberger, CFA, CVA, is a financial consultant with 15 years of experience developing advanced financial models, including discounted cash flow, comparable security and Black-Scholes analyses, used for valuation of businesses, intangible assets and derivatives. He has an extensive background in the cannabis industry including dispensaries, lifestyle branding companies, cultivators, and biotechnology companies. He’s worked in a wide range of other industries as well as hedge funds, BDCs, private equity, and other investment companies. He will be a Principal in the Firm’s New York City office.
Kelly Lin has more than a decade of experience in tax and public accounting services. She specializes in serving consolidated corporate groups, partnerships, multi-state and international businesses. She is experienced with complex ASC 740 issues and is versed in year-end and quarterly income tax provision processes. Lin is fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese and is thoroughly familiar with both Western and Eastern business customs and culture. Lin’s international expertise and technical knowledge allows her to deliver comprehensive planning, consulting, due diligence and compliance services to domestic and foreign enterprises and individual investors. She will work as a Principal based in the Firm’s New York City office.
