PKF O’Connor Davies’ Nkrumah Pierre Receives 2024 FUEL Men “Ones to Watch” Award

Financial Services Partner recognized for emerging leadership and positive impact in community and industry

PKF O’Connor Davies, one of the nation’s largest accounting, tax and advisory practices, is proud to announce that Nkrumah Pierre, a Partner in the organization’s Financial Services practice, has been selected as a recipient of the 2024 FUEL Men “Ones to Watch” Award. The recognition honors emerging African American male leaders who are making a positive impact in their communities and industries.

In addition to his role as a member of PKF O’Connor Davies’ Financial Services practice, Pierre is a frequent speaker for professional organizations, including the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), colleges and universities. He has presented at the Accounting Finance Show, a major conference and exhibition in New York City. Additionally, he is a past honoree of The Network Journal’s “40 Under Forty” Professionals of Color. During the FUEL summit, he led a session titled “Collective Rise: How Lifting Others Elevates Us All,” exploring the transformative power of community support and empowerment within the African American community.

“I’ve always believed in the importance of giving back and inspiring younger professionals to succeed in their careers and personal lives,” said Pierre. “I’m honored to be recognized for my dedication and commitment to building relationships, breaking down barriers and fostering collaboration and growth, especially within the African American community.”

The 6th Annual FUEL: The Ultimate Summit & Awards, presented by FINRA, brings together influential and emerging leaders to foster growth, networking and recognition within the African American community. FUEL, or Forging Unity, Elevating Leadership, is designed to empower, inspire and elevate Black men across all walks of life. This year’s summit was held in Baltimore, Maryland, on November 14-15.
