PKF O’Connor Davies Named to Vault’s 2019 Best Accounting Internships, Best Internships for Employment Prospects and Best Internships for Diversity Lists
New York, NY (November 13, 2018) – PKF O’Connor Davies, LLP, the nation’s 29th largest accounting and advisory firm, announced today it has been named to Vault’s 2019 Best Accounting Internships, a ranking of the highest-rated internships among accounting firms. This year, the Firm ranked at number eight, an increase from its debut on the list last year at number 16. PKF O’Connor Davies, LLP, was also ranked number 18 on Vault’s 2019 Rankings for Best Internships for Diversity and ranked 22nd for Best Internships for Employment Prospects and number 24 in the list of the 50 Best Internships across all industries.

To compile the 2019 Vault Best Internships Rankings, Vault invited more than 400 organizations to participate in its 2018 Internship Survey and surveyed more than 13,000 current and former interns. Interns rated their experiences in five areas – Quality of Life, Compensation & Perks, Application Process, Meaningfulness of Assignments and Training and Full-time Employment Prospects.
“These rankings are based on actual feedback from our interns, which speaks to the caliber of our programs and people,” said Dawn Perri, Chief Human Resources Officer. “We’re proud to jump into the top 10 this year, but the real reward is for our interns who experience the hands-on projects and leadership development we offer. PKF O’Connor Davies has two comprehensive internship programs which cover a variety of specialties and skills in the accounting industry and play a core role in services offered by the Firm.
- Winter Tax Internship – For undergraduates who want to explore a career in public accounting and secure valuable hands-on experience at the same time. Interns work directly with clients as an active member of one the Firm’s industry group teams, assisting with tax scanning and tax return preparation. This takes place during the mid-February to mid-April tax season.
- Summer Audit Internship – For undergraduates seeking real-world audit experience along with immersion in the Firm culture. As a team member in an industry group, interns assist in executing actual audit projects for key clients and conduct a market research project for presentation to Firm leadership. Interns build their professional networks through community service and Firm-sponsored events and undergo specialized training and collaboration with an Intern Advisor.
