PKF O’Connor Davies Named a 2022 ‘Best Places to Work in Westchester’ Honoree

Firm named to inaugural ranking, lauded for taking meaningful steps to support truly diverse workforce

PKF O’Connor Davies, LLP, one of the nation’s largest accounting, tax and advisory firms, is proud to announce that it has been named one of the “Best Places to Work in Westchester” by Westchester Magazine and 914INC. The new regional survey and awards program identifies, recognizes and honors those employers with operations in Westchester County, New York, that are taking meaningful steps to foster an encouraging, emboldening and employee-centric work environment. This recognition is the latest in a series of regional, national and industry accolades touting the Firm’s cutting-edge workplace practices, and especially reflects the Firm’s ongoing focus on issues of diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I).

“As the world has changed, we’ve pioneered a host of new programs over the past year, always guided by our core values and commitment to a meaningful workplace culture,” said Kevin J. Keane, Executive Chairman at PKF O’Connor Davies. “To be recognized as a top workplace in our community speaks volumes about our team’s ability to remain united and find new levels of partnership and collaboration while navigating evolving ways of working.”

The Firm’s recognition is due in large part to its work cultivating a diverse, supportive and welcoming workforce. The Firm maintains a dedicated Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) Committee and remains committed to promoting a diverse talent pipeline. The Firm’s campus recruiting program regularly partners with various multicultural professional organizations, including Ascend, the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) and the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA). Separate from its DE&I work, the Firm offers team members a competitive package of financial and personal benefits encompassing flexible hours, professional development opportunities, paid parental leave and a profit-sharing plan. The Firm employs over 200 Westchester-based employees, all of which are based out of the Firm’s Harrison office.

“This honor is a testament to our entire team’s ability to keep employees top of mind and positioned for success as we evolve our workplace practices and procedures,” said Dawn V. Perri, Chief Human Resources Officer at PKF O’Connor Davies. “As we look to the year ahead, we’re not losing sight of that commitment to support our team and their vital work for our clients.”

PKF O’Connor Davies continues to expand through organic growth and acquisitions on the East Coast. It has supported this growth with a strategic combination of promoting from within coupled with an ongoing focus on top-tier external hires.
