PKF O’Connor Davies Hires Andrew Suh as Partner
Respected industry leader will provide transaction advisory services to corporations, private equity investors, and their portfolio companies in Firm’s New York City office
PKF O’Connor Davies, LLP, one of the nation’s largest accounting, tax, and advisory firms, announced today it has hired Andrew Suh as a Partner in its New York City office. Suh will add his considerable experience and expertise to the Firm’s Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) practice as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance core capabilities in key markets.
“We were immediately impressed with Andrew’s experience, including high-profile positions with two Big 4 accounting firms and his considerable international know-how,” said Jonathan Moore, Partner-in-Charge, Transaction Advisory Services. “Most importantly, he’s a strategic thinker and a skilled collaborator, and he puts his clients’ goals first. That makes him an excellent match for the culture of our Firm.”
Suh has more than 14 years of experience in providing buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory services with a special focus on due diligence (accounting, financial, tax), purchase agreement vetting, closing, and post-deal assistance. He has worked on more than 150 transactions for a wide range of clients including corporations, private equity investors, and their portfolio companies. He brings significant software and technology expertise to the Firm, with extensive knowledge of specific metrics such as recurring revenue streams, customer and user churn, bookings momentum, and customer acquisition costs.
“My ultimate goal in every transaction is to be a trusted advisor for my clients and guide them in securing the best possible outcome throughout an investment’s life-cycle,” said Suh. “I’m thrilled to join an organization that puts that same emphasis on client service and identifying and sharing best practices and expertise.”
Suh has worked on deals ranging in value from $5 million to $2 billion across the technology, media and entertainment, telecommunications, life sciences, healthcare, business services, and consumer products industries. In addition, he has advised on a number of cross-border transactions involving Canadian, Australian, South American, European, and Asian entities. Previously in his career, he also served as CFO of a private equity-backed technology company in Australia, which he guided through multiple acquisitions and a successful exit for the private equity sponsors and management shareholders. Suh is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
