PKF O’Connor Davies Appoints Steve Antico as Inaugural Chief Digital Officer
Veteran team member to serve as Firm’s first executive exclusively dedicated to leveraging technology and data assets to drive organizational growth and innovation
PKF O’Connor Davies, LLP, one of the nation’s largest accounting, tax and advisory firms, today announced the appointment of Steve Antico as the Firm’s inaugural Chief Digital Officer. Antico is responsible for pursuing opportunities to leverage technology and create value from the Firm’s data assets to drive top- and bottom-line growth, scalability and unique data-driven insights. Working closely with the Firm’s C-Suite, and particularly its Chief Financial Officer and Chief Information Officer, Antico is charged with fostering a data mindset across the Firm and serving as a driving force behind the organization’s digital transformation. His appointment reflects the outsized role analytical decision making plays in today’s business environment as a means to promote organizational growth and innovation.
“Our Firm has long recognized the power and potential of data to shed light on our work and drive better decisions for our organization and, most importantly, for our clients,” said Kevin J. Keane, Executive Chairman at PKF O’Connor Davies. “Steve has been a champion of data-driven decision making for years, and he’s committed to ensuring the technological tools at our team’s disposal allow us to remain innovative across our services and solutions. I have no doubt Steve’s new role will provide immense value to the Firm as he spearheads our ongoing digital transformation.”
Prior to being named the Firm’s Chief Digital Officer, Antico spent nearly a decade as its Director of Client Relations, responsible for establishing a centralized client relationship management (CRM) function. He designed and implemented processes and technology solutions to manage the Firm’s accounts receivable and collection activities, while also launching a CRM-generated alert system identifying at-risk engagements and accounts. Antico also developed a new outsourced accounts receivable and collection management service offering for the Firm.
“I’ve always believed that when organizations utilize data to inform decisions and optimize performance, they place themselves in the best possible position to succeed and outpace the competition,” Antico said. “In this new role, I look forward to maximizing the impact of our digital assets and enhancing a data-driven mindset across the Firm.”
Before joining the Firm, Antico served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of a provider of outsourced commercial accounts receivable and collections management solutions. He earned an undergraduate degree from the University at Albany, and he holds a Master of Business Administration in Corporate Finance from Pace University.
