HFTP 2021 Annual Convention: Keeping Current With Tax Law, An Update for Clubs

Geoffrey Benedict, CPA, CGMA and Kerri Rawcliffe, CPA will be presenting “Keeping Current With Tax Law, An Update for Clubs” at HFTP’s 2021 Annual Convention.

During this session, attendees will get an overview of the current and upcoming Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) pronouncements and tax law. Geared to club controllers, learn how to successfully implement, monitor and budget with these new adjustments in mind. The presenters will provide guidance and examples on how to best implement these changes.

1. Attendees will review new and recent GAAP pronouncements as they relate to clubs.
2. Attendees will examine how new tax laws relate to taxable and tax-exempt clubs.
3. Attendees will also take a look at existing tax laws that are often overlooked.
4. Attendees will address implementation issues and the impact on the financial statements for the GAAP and tax changes.
