Craig Plutner specializes in budget and financial statement analysis, internal control review, systems implementation and management reporting. An important aspect of Craig’s role is to communicate with management, anticipate accounting and auditing issues, carefully monitor the progress of the engagement, issue reports on a timely basis, and identify meaningful recommendations to improve operations. Craig’s responsibilities include supervising the audit team members on-site to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the financial reports.
Craig joined the Firm in January 2014 after spending 25 years at McGladrey LLP where he served as a Director in their Not-for Profit and Health Care practice. At McGladrey, Craig served not-for-profit clients throughout the New York metropolitan region with assets ranging from $1 million to $250 million. Craig has experience auditing clients across the not-for-profit sector, including charitable organizations, religious organizations, trade associations, membership associations, private foundations and health-related charitable organizations.
