Organization recognized amongst top workplaces for second consecutive year
PKF O’Connor Davies, one of the nation’s largest accounting, tax and advisory practices, is proud to announce that it has been named one of the “Best Companies to Work For in New York” by the Rochester Business Journal and the New York State Society for Human Resources Management for the second consecutive year. The recognition spotlights New York-based companies for their prioritization of employee engagement and satisfaction through workplace practices, policies and benefits.
“We are grateful to be named as one of the best workplaces in New York for a second consecutive year. We operate in a “people” business. By investing in our team, we cultivate an inclusive and empowering environment where everyone can thrive,” said George Whitehead, Co-Partner-in-Charge of PKF O’Connor Davies’ Harrison Office.
To determine this year’s awardees, a two-part assessment process was utilized. The first part consisted of an evaluation of PKF O’Connor Davies’ workplace policies, practices and demographics. The second part consisted of a survey of PKF O’Connor Davies’ team members measuring the employee experience across eight focus areas: leadership and planning; corporate culture and communications; role satisfaction; work environment; relationship with supervisor; training, development and resources; pay and benefits and overall engagement.
“Being recognized for the second consecutive year is a testament to our organization’s strong culture and commitment to creating an exceptional workplace,” said Clare E. Cella, Managing Partner of PKF O’Connor Davies LLP and Partner-in-Charge of PKF O’Connor Davies’ New York City office. “By prioritizing our team members and investing in their well-being, growth and ongoing development, we foster an environment where success naturally follows.”
The program identifies honorees in three categories: small companies (15-99 employees), medium companies (100-249 employees) and large companies (250 or more employees). The complete rankings will be unveiled during an awards ceremony on April 10, 2025.
