Jill Cantor

Jill Cantor, a CPA and attorney is a member of the Firm’s State and Local Tax Practice since 2012. She has over 20 years of tax experience. While at the Firm, Jill has provided state tax consulting and tax credit services to clients across a broad range of industries and has represented clients in state tax audits.

The majority of Jill’s work revolves around state and local taxes (SALT), where she has handled state corporate and partnership tax matters including nexus studies, sales and use tax analyses, personal income tax residency analyses and audit defense and unclaimed property issues.

Before joining PKF O’Connor Davies, Jill began her career at one of the “Big 4” international accounting firms. She went on to work at publicly held companies in their tax departments and then, ultimately, as a Tax Director for one of the companies.

In addition, Jill is a frequent contributor to the Firm’s Thought Leadership series on SALT topics and technically reviews articles by others on such matters before publication to ensure accuracy.
