Rick is a Partner in the Private Client group. With over 40 years of experience, Rick provides tax planning and consulting services for high-net-worth individuals and closely held, entrepreneurial and family-owned businesses.
Rick’s areas of specialization include advising on tax matters affecting high-net-worth individuals and businesses in the technology, software development, professional services and real estate industries. He consults extensively in connection with the tax planning/structuring of mergers and acquisitions. Rick also advises on other transactions affecting entities and their owners, including estate/gift tax planning associated with such transactions.
Rick has written articles and lectured, both locally and nationally, on a variety of tax issues including:
